We are Joseph McGeechan and Colin Bain, together we run Backwater community Recordings and Transmissions, we are also produce music as the BCR Boys.

I started djing in early 2000 and it wasn't long till I was playing regular gigs in Glagow, I was selected to play in the well renowed Arches and Barrlowlands at an early stage of my djing, I also played many of the other clubs around the Glasgow circuit, aswell as dj for M8 Magazine.

After this I took a few years out of djing and production, once I came back I began making and playing modern techno and I have continued to play this sound. This year saw our music go onto labels like Synewave and also we received a vinyl press on Synewave too, and our song Delete was heavily supported by Chris Liebing and was even selected on his special CLR podcast. We continue to receive the support of the biggest djs in techno.
